Memorial Service Procedure | Paying Respects at Mang-Hyang Tower

• Preparation
  • Upon arrival at the National Mang-Hyang Cemetery, request a memorial service (for group visits).
  • Proceed to the Memorial Tower and line up in front of the altar.
    ※ For group services, the leader and representative should stand one step ahead.
• Laying the Wreath and Burning Incense
  • Stand at the center in front of the altar. Take the incense from the incense case, hold it close to your chest for a moment, and gently place it in the incense burner.
  • Step back two to three steps and bow respectfully to pay your respects.
• Silent Prayer
  • Observe a moment of silence to honor the souls of overseas Koreans with sincerity and reverence.
• Conclusion
  • Conclude the memorial service and walk down the front stairs.
